. As an amputee, I have spent a long time on crutches. Nevertheless, after 2 weeks of use, 1 pad split longitudinally, so that the 2 sides of the pad drooped and no longer protected my underneath arm. If the manufacturer would correct this defect, I would have no reservations about getting the pads once again. These pads are the most comfortable that I have ever utilized
I give it a single star simply because the slippery character can make employing crutches relatively harmful. Elasto-Gel is rather thin and slippery. Soon after this disappointment, I ordered Crutch Remedy cushions which did not slip and offered excellent cushioning of armpit and hand grips (make certain you have aluminum crutches with wing nuts at the hand grips). .
