On one of the units the button that you push to lock it was rolling all around in the box and had to be repaired, which I did. I bought two of these Grabbers and each had significant issues. . This takes place each time you use the grabber with out sliding the lock that enables you to hold an item without continuing to squeeze the trigger. I would not advise everyone to buy this grabber. When you squeeze the trigger on the other 1 the suction cups near and won’t release the item you picked up. In the middle of the bar there is a mechanism to lock the length in place

Oh, yeah, folds effortlessly for travel. (I have an upper back injury and can’t lift a lot anyway, even by arm. For the price tag of a couple of Starbucks, it was really worth the funds for me. . I don’t use it to lift hefty things. My 13-yr-old utilized it to select up trash on a clean-up expedition, and it worked fine. I could probably reattach it, but can’t find it! So, I am picking up yet another one (or two). ) Have utilized it to pick up objects as small as a dropped pill. I located the product to work just fine for my purposes. Had mine a year and one of the rubber “feet” popped off

preserve your money and the the Ontel edition. . . . . easy to grip and the business end (the grabber portion) is created of rubber which is versatile and pliable and can select up pieces of flat paper off the floor. I bought these grabbers simply because they looked like the Gopher Grabber by Ontel that I bought in Walgreens Drugstore. The gripper pictured right here have grabbers that are created of difficult plastic and can not “grip” something. The Gopher Grabber is the ideal. They are frustrating to use since whatever you are making an attempt to grab keeps slipping out.
